Laser beam expanders are mainly used in laser processing systems to expand the diameter of the laser beam and reduce the divergence angle of the laser beam. Laser beam expanders are usually used in conjunction with F-theta field mirrors, and the expanded beam can be focused smaller than the unexpanded beam. The magnification of the laser beam expander collimator is the magnification of the beam diameter. Tiankai Optoelectronics provides three types of beam expanders, namely fixed magnification beam expanders, adjustable divergence angle beam expanders and continuous variable magnification beam expanders.
